This is the first post on the new site. It exists mostly to prove the plumbing: a plain static page, a stylesheet, a custom domain pointed at GitHub Pages.
The design borrows its colours and font from Bear Blog — Verdana, near-black text on white, a single blue link colour — and keeps the centred, text-forward layout I was already using elsewhere. No frameworks, no build step, no tracking.
what lives here
Short notes, longer essays, and the occasional worked-through problem. Writing here isn't a finished product; it's the pass I take at an idea before I believe it.
